EMA organises  activities, publishes reports, runs special projects and award schemes, and raises funds for a wide range of sectors. Training programmes, including staff exchange programmes foryoung professionals, are being arranged, as well as programmes concentrating on quality management.      

We are very happy to publish here the Press Release announcing the Winners of the 2011 Micheletti Award and of the newly established European Museum Academy Prize.
Both the Awards have been presented during an exciting ceremony held at the DASA in Dortmund in the presence of HRH Princess Sibilla de Luxemburg, who is also Member of the EMA Pool of Experts.
The DASA, first winner of the Micheletti Prize 16 years ago, has also presented its own Award especially conceived for this occasion.
The EMA Board is very grateful to the DASA for its cooperation and warm hospitality. DASA is one of the permanent partners of EMA in different areas of museological research.
